SAP BTP Architect - Remote - Spain or US

Description

Redfig is seeking an SAP Business Technology Platform Architect to join their growing remote software development team based out of either Spain or the US.

The BTP Architect will be responsible for development, testing, deployment, and support of new and existing Multi-target Applications (MTAs) based on the Cloud Application Programming (CAP) framework. The modules and services that the architect will be responsible for include the following:

• Typescript-based NodeJS CAP servers
• CDS service definition
• HANA and PostgreSQL databases
• XSUAA authentication service with SAP Identity Authentication Service integration
• SAP Portal service
• SAP Destination and Connectivity services
• SAP HTML5 Repository service

Additionally, the architect will need to be familiar with:

• SAPUI5 programming
• Web-based application architecture principles
• Git handling
• Development pipelines
• SAP ECC and S/4 modules

The architect will be supported by account managers, front-end developers, and SAP ABAP developers depending on the project or product.

Professional Requirements

• Native or fluent English speaker
• Ability to work legally in the US or Spain
• Ability to work independently
• A passion for learning

Technical Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of NodeJS
• Advanced knowledge of Typescript
• Experience with SAP BTP
• Experience with MTA and CAP frameworks
• Ability to solve technical problems

Optional Qualifications

• Experience working with SAP and other ERP products
• Experience with ABAP programming
• Experience with HTML5/SAPUI5
• Experience working on internatinoal teams
